In June of 2017, we subscribed to a new eMagazine service – Flipster. The collection began small but in December new titles were added. We’re hopeful that the new, expanded collection will generate even more enthusiasm (and checkouts!) for Flipster.
Completely new to Flipster? All you need is a library barcode and you’re ready to go.
On a desktop or laptop computer, open Flipster from either the Allegheny County eReources page or the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s website, enter your library barcode, and begin browsing the collection. If you’re accessing Flipster from a mobile device, download the Flipster app from either the Apple or GooglePlay store, enter your library barcode, and begin browsing the collection. Once you’ve checked out a magazine, it’s easy to flip through the pages, search within the issue, see all available issues, view all of the pages in the issue, print or modify settings.
